Anime marathons

The point of an anime marathon is to sit and giggle at cartoons together, and to sample genres of animation you would not have picked yourself. That is why an anime auction usually goes like this:

1. 1

We start with a number of anime minutes to fill (roughly, one marathon fits 26 episodes of 25-episode anime. With all the talking, the jokes, the memes and the usual madness, our 12 hours often turn into 16…).

2. 2

We collect the lots through lupy (channel points), pupas and, once in a while, actual kopecks.

3. 3

We spin a randomised roulette of those lots again and again until the minute counter is full.

4. 4

If a whole season fits, we take the whole season. If half a season fits, we take half. If only one episode fits, we take one episode. If a film comes up, we take all of it.

So we get to watch some long-running anime (you decide yourselves what to keep going with and what to drop) and to take a look at some arthouse thing within a single episode
