The Indian guy from Crunchyroll and the first ban

This happened at the last May anime marathon (on 30.05.2026, to be exact). Farost was quietly watching anime as usual — Re:Zero, specifically. As always, new memes and bits kept turning up along the way, and the mood was calm and friendly.

And then, having just finished the first season of Re:Zero, Farost gave his opinion on the show over the closing credits. He didn’t get to finish: the stream cut out, chat started typing F out of habit, not yet suspecting what had actually happened — and once they refreshed the page, they got to behold a rather unpleasant notice…

That was the first ban in the history of the FarostG channel. It only lasted 2 days, but afterwards every resident greeted Farost like a real convict who had served his time, and the ones who had waited the hardest got a matching fact added to their lore.

After that the whole thing became a meme across Tubbyland and on Farost’s streams, and mentioning Re:Zero or the Crunchyroll company fell under a joking ban.

A mysterious person with a rather telling nickname — indus_from_crunchyroll — also started showing up in chat after the ban, but that is another story entirely…
