Furrinya

Furrinya is a glitchy catgirl, assembled from the most unoriginal scraps of otaku and Internet culture. On the plus side, she’s got a fabulous moustache.

Story

Furrinya is the first glitch of Farost. She’s a product of the modern Internet and Farost’s down-to-earth anime fantasies: a cute, slim neko girl in pink clothes with long violet hair. In an attempt to merge with Farost’s looks, she grew a fluffy pink moustache under her nose. But that’s where the resemblance ends.

Progression

Furrinya is an incomplete glitch. She considers herself Farost, yet she’s also aware that she’s Furrinya. Her appearance differs wildly from Farost’s, so it’s very hard for her to blend in with her source material. She often talks nonsense and gets tangled up while explaining her own origins, all while stubbornly insisting she’s the real Farost. During her takeovers, she’s keenly aware that her time is limited, and she sometimes acts desperately to make others believe her — and to have a bit of fun together while she can.

Since every one of Furrinya’s appearances was recorded, Farost knows about her too. After many months of conflict, viewers started occasionally spotting Furrinya’s cat ears behind Farost’s back — as if she were standing behind him, steering him. Or waiting for her turn…

For a while it seemed like Farost and Furrinya had drawn a certain line to set boundaries, where they both respected each other and tried to coexist in peace. But at one point, everything changed.

Defeat by another glitch

The first large-scale breakdown of the teletummy happened between February and March of 2026.

Farost, content with how things stood, let himself loosen the teletummy’s defenses, and Furrinya’s regular self-governing antics made things worse, dissolving his personality even further into the digital world — and along with it, making him more vulnerable to glitch attacks.

A glitch with the code 0xF4R0 — who would later proclaim herself 0xF4R0-chan — seized the moment. For a whole month the teletummy was under attack, and Furrinya, mostly concerned with her own safety, tried to fend the invader off. But her strength wasn’t enough.

On top of that, Poo-Poo — Farost’s robot vacuum — turned against her, convinced she was to blame for the whole mess. By the end of the First Battle for the Teletummy, Furrinya was defeated, and under cover of the chaos, Faro-chan’s final script was launched. Chat couldn’t manage to save Furrinya’s file.

Furrinya’s current status is unknown.
